● Rectangular instrument cluster indicates the TFT unit
The next generation KTM RC200 was spotted on testing without any camouflage Reveals more Details. First of all, the Underbelly Exhaust shows that this bike belongs to the 200cc segment.
The RC390 was also spotted on similar test before a few days ago and the design of new RC200 is also identical to that. The spy shot reveals a new rectangular instrument cluster indicates the TFT unit. This may be the same fully digital Bluetooth enabled dash used on the 390 Duke.
The 2021 KTM RC200 Spied motorcycle has the same halogen headlight set as the Duke 200. It also features an LED tail lamp that is different from the one seen in the 2021 RC390 spy shots and is similar to the one used in the current gen.
No major changes to the engine are expected. The new gen RC200 will be powered by the same 199.5cc single cylinder engine used in the BS6 version of the Duke 200. This engine will produce a 25 hp of maximum power and little more than 19 Nm of torque with 6 speed gearbox.
The exact launch date of this bike is not yet known. Expect it to hit the market sometime next year.
