Honda two wheelers launched the all-new hornet 2.0 at the price of Rs.1.26 lakh. This is an entry of Honda to the 180 cc naked motorbike segment. The design is based on the Honda CBF190R that’s sold in international markets, and a few months back, the brand had filed a patent for the CBF190R in India.
Honda Hornet 2.0 designed like a street fighter with its sharp LED headlamp, muscular fuel tank and sleek X shaped tail section same as in Honda Hornet 160R. This bike uses a negative LCD instrument cluster with a five-level brightness adjustment.
Honda Hornet 2.0 powered by an air-cooled 184.4cc HET BS6 PGM-Fi engine that can generate a maximum power output of 17 HP at 8500 RPM and 16.1 Nm of peak torque at 6000 RPM, and it is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The bike uses a single-channel ABS braking system works through 276 mm front petal disc and 220 mm rear petal disc. Honda hornet provide upside down forks at front and mono shock at rear.
Honda Hornet will available in four, different colour options — Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black. Bookings have already started while deliveries will start from September.
