Bajaj Dominar 250 was launched in India at this year march with the price tag of Rs 1.60 lakh (ex.showroom Delhi). Bajaj has increased its price to Rs 1.64 lakh (ex.showroom Delhi). That is an increase of Rs 4090. This is the first time that Bajaj has been raising the price of the Dominar 250 after its launch.
Bajaj has not made any other major changes or updates in connection with the price hike. Dominar 250 is powered by a 248.8cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine from the KTM Duke 250. In terms of performance the Dominar 250 can hit 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds and it can achieve a top-speed of 132 km/h.
But in terms of performance, the Duke 250 is more powerful than Dominar 250. Duke 250 can produce 30 hp of power and 24 Nm of torque while Dominar 250 produce 27 hp of power and 23.5 Nm torque. Instead of a performance oriented bike, Bajaj focuses on a relaxed touring friendly bike.
Although Bajaj has increased the price of the Dominar 250, the current price is not bad compared to the current 250cc bikes. The Suzuki gixxer 250 is priced at Rs 1.65 lakh while the Husqvarna is priced at Rs 1.80 lakh. Therefore, the Dominar 250, is a bike that is value for money in terms of features and performance. The bike features a slipper clutch and Dual channel ABS.
